Profile: CEO and Founder of Giell Beauty Supply (Giell.com). Originally from Drummondville, in the province of Quebec, Canada, I emigrated to the United States in 1997, settling down in Atlanta. My background in software engineering and passion for business led me to eCommerce. In 2005, my wife Joanne and I started our online selling activities. Very early on we decided to focus on beauty products and found some niche markets to build upon. It took several months to settle down on a name for the business, and Giell came from Joanne's initials (J.L.). When pronounced in french, her initials phonetically spell out "gi-ell". Both of us loved the sound and appeal of the name and this is when, in the fall 2007, Giell Beauty Supply was born. Since then our business has steadily been growing and we are now authorized distributors for many professional line of beauty products and appliances.
