How to Wax Upper Lip
Waxing your upper lip to remove unsightly, unwanted hair is probably easier than you may think. With the right waxing product and the know how, waxing your upper lip can be done at home safely and most importantly, privately!
Choose a facial wax based on your skin type, for example if you have sensitive skin, be sure to choose a wax for sensitive skin to avoid any unwanted irritation. You may opt to use a wax which needs strips or a stripless wax, it’s basically based on your preference, I myself prefer stripless as it is simple and a little less work.
The main key in waxing hair from your upper lip is to make sure that you check out the direction of hair growth. You will find that the hair on your upper lip grows on an angle towards the outer edges and straight down in the middle of your lip. You want to be sure to apply the wax in the direction of hair growth and remove the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth.
When waxing your upper lip you will get the best results if you break it up into 3 steps, one side of your lip, then the other and then the middle. This will help ensure you remove the hair in the right direction.
After waxing you may choose to use an post wax treatment to help sooth the skin and reduce redness.
