Using your Flat Iron – Hair Straightening Tips
Straight, smooth, sleek hair is always a popular hairstyle trend however, for some of us getting straight hair 
requires some work. Here are some tips to use a long with your flat iron for the smooth, straight hair you want!
1. ALWAYS use a heat protectant to protect your hair when using your flat iron. A good heat protectant will also help smooth and defrizz curly or wavy hair.
2. When straightening your hair, start by pinning the top half of your hair up so you can work from the back of the head, to the sides and then repeat on the top half of hair.
3. Straighten hair in 1-2 ” sections at a time.
4. When straightening hair, clamp the plates of your hair straightener near the root of your hair and glide your iron SLOWLY down the section of your hair. Going slowly keeps you from having to go over the same section of hair again and again which can cause damage to your hair.
5. Once you are finished straightening all of your hair, to help keep hair straight and smooth all day apply a finishing spray.
