With Halloween not too far away, it’s time to start planning that Halloween Costume! One of the best Makeup Accessories for any costume is False Eyelashes. With a huge variety of fake lashes to choose from, they can go along with any Halloween costume.

Costume Ideas-

Here are some Halloween costume ideas where false eyelashes can be incorporated-

Fake Lashes with Rhinestones are perfect for costumes such as Fairies, 50’s Glamor or Genie.

Feather Lashes are great for Halloween costumes such as gothic, burlesque, fairy and animal costumes such as birds.

Using False Lashes for Kitty Costume -

A kitty costume is purrrfect for both kids and adults and I got the idea to use false lashes as whiskers. Before posting I had to try my idea out to see if it would work, and it did!

I took a pair of Ardell Lashes and cut 3 sections off the strip. Using Ardell Lash Grip Adhesive I applied a small amount to the ends of the lashes and stuck them to my face. I had first used a black eyeliner pencil to draw 3 small dots where I applied the whiskers. Of course, if you are going to be a cat for Halloween you will want to paint your face first.

When my 2 year old daughter saw what I was doing she wanted to be a kitty too! So, using 2 small sections from the same pair of lashes I applied them to her cheeks. 2 hours later and she still has whiskers! (p.s. The glue did not irritate her skin in any way either!)

*Hard to tell in the photo but the lashes stick out making the perfect whiskers. Meow!
