Skin Care – How to Get Smooth, Glowing Skin
I always get asked my ‘secret’ to how I have such soft, glowing skin and although I never really thought it was any type of secret, when I share my body care routine I do usually get a response such as “I never knew” or “I didn’t think about that”
It’s a simple 3 step skin care routine and, well, here it is!

1. When showering, using an exfoliating body scrubber such as a cloth, mitt or gloves, apply a good amount of a moisturizing body wash to the scrubber and work up a nice rich lather. Using circular motions and working upwards from your toes to your neck, gently exfoliate your entire body. Rinse well.
* If you need to shave your legs or underarms, do so now with a shaving gel or body wash.
2. Once you are done showering, move away from the stream of the water and apply a generous amount of body oil to wet skin, massaging it into arms, legs etc… I avoid my back and chest as I am prone to breakouts here. If you have normal skin you should be ok. Now, step back into the shower stream but only for a few seconds, you do not want to rinse the body oil off entirely!
3. Stepping out of the shower you will be able to feel the oil on your skin and it may feel a little heavy at first. Using a dry towel, gently pat skin dry.

4. Now, apply a fast absorbing body lotion such as Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion (my personal new fav!) to your entire body and allow a minute or so for it to absorb.
And that’s it! Now, if you find your skin feels too oily then next time you may want to rinse a little more before stepping out of the shower. Also, do not over exfoliate your skin as this can cause major irration, 2-3 times per week should be plenty!
